Generational talent only comes around, well every generation. With there being more and more talent being generated in recent drafts it is likely that the next big thing will be drafted soon. Now Rimouski Océanic’s star Alexis Lafrenière is looking like he could very well be the next player to wear the generational tag. Rimouski has a solid track record of producing well known NHL players such as; Brad Richards, Vincent Lecavalier, and Michael Frolík. Oh yeah, they also developed this mediocre, kind-of-okay player named Sidney Crosby, he went to the Pens or something, I can’t remember. The worst thing in the world is seeing a player with such potential end up wasting it due to where they land after the draft. Here are my top 5 places where I think Lafrenière will develop the best!
